What we collect: almost nothing.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Builder data stays on your device

Everything you enter in the 226-J builder — employee IDs, pay figures, codes, dates — is stored in your browser's local storage on your device only. It is never transmitted to our servers. We cannot see it, and we do not want to.

Anonymous analytics

We count anonymous daily totals for a small allowlist of events (for example, "deadline calculator used" or "packet printed"). Each count records only the event name, the page, and the day. Specifically, we do not collect:

  • names, email addresses, or contact details
  • IP addresses (not stored with analytics)
  • employee, payroll, or tax data of any kind
  • cookies for tracking, session replay, or fingerprinting

Counts older than 90 days are deleted automatically.

Do Not Track & opt-out

Our analytics honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals automatically — if either is on, nothing is sent. You can also opt out entirely:

Payments

Checkout is handled by Stripe via Stripe Payment Links. We never see or store your card details. When Stripe confirms a completed payment, our server records only an anonymous entitlement token so the builder unlocks on your browser — no name or email attached on our side.
